John and Carole would like to wish all those who have attended our courses a Merry Christmas. We hope you are looking forward to your own home reared pork and maybe some Christmas hams, sausage or bacon.
The number of people keeping pigs for their freezer continues to grow. Knowing how their meat has been reared and fed is really important to all those who come on our courses and is really important to us too.
The majority of pigs through our local abattoir this Christmas have been for private individuals.
We are certain once you have tasted the quality of home grown pork you will not return to the pale, mass produced pork found at the supermarket.
All our 2013 course dates are now available and we look forward to meeting lots of new, enthusiastic pig keepers next year.
